No. The APX100 is a standalone system with embedded software, integrated camera and onboard data management. Captured images are automatically organised into folders by sample.

How many fluorescence channels does the APX100 support?

The fluorescence turret accepts up to eight cubes, supporting common channels such as DAPI/Hoechst, GFP/FITC and RFP/mCherry. Automated exposure and Z-offset calibration are stored per channel.

Can the APX100 do live-cell time-lapse?

Yes. Time-lapse acquisition is built in. Optional incubator and drug-administration units extend the system to long-term live-cell assays.
